If there was an software error in how the 2015 version saved the data or in how the 2016 version retrieved it, no one admitted it. The 2nd person did not seem to care if he solved my problem or not.
the first person I talked to was pretty sure that the rep he transf erred me to would be able to fix the issue. I am sure there had to have been a way to retrieve that data if the 2015 premiere would load and entire 2015 tax return could be brought up. Ended up manually reentering all the data including, loss carry over, depreciation schedules, accumulated depreciation, etc. After talking with two TT customer service reps, neither could solve the issue.
